Veal with Peppers and Mushrooms

Cooking and Prep:  1hour, 25 minutes


1 1/2 pounds veal (lean and boneless)
1 green bell pepper (cut into 6 strips)
1 red bell pepper (cut into 6 strips)
1 pinch cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
16 ounces tomato sauce
Black pepper
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)


Cut the Veal into small pieces or strips
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the Veal until brown
When the Veal is browned, add the red and green bell peppers, cover and reduce the heat
Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add red pepper and tomato sauce to the pan
Close the pan, for 30 to 45 minutes or more, until the Veal is tender
Season with salt and pepper
